April and May in photo's

Some of the what I've been up to over the last 2 month's which has kept me from keeping up with my social media.  All of this on top of lead my team of scientist during the week at my day job.  I hope you can all forgive me for my lack of contact and that this will explain why ๐Ÿ˜‚

Easter gifts for my team

Family Craft night (never say there's nothing to do in my ear shot ๐Ÿ˜‚)

My birthday celebration, we decided to hold a cake decorating competition.  I posted the image of the cakes on Facebook and Insta to get votes on which cake was the favourite.  We also asked family members who popped in on the day.

In typical style I spent the rest of my birthday creating my brothers birthday card for the next day and starting the craft kits I received for my birthday ๐Ÿ˜‚

Popped out for a warm up dive to start the diving season

My son-in-law's 40th birthday celebration, so I needed to make him a special card and gift

A relaxing weekend away in a cosy tree house

Family walks with the dog

My largest class, 11 lovely ladies at the Women's Institute.  I was so busy I didn't get chance to take pictures of the evening, but I captured some photo's during my kit prep time. As well as having the pleasure to make a mother and baby T-shirt and baby grow set for a friend's wife and baby girl

Some time away with my husband diving, yes that is my crafting in the car on the journey.  Last year I made a mini album on the journey, this year it wasn't any major crafting activity.  Do excuse the big hat and glasses, I burn easily and this is the only kind of hat which stays on once I open up the engines ๐Ÿ˜Š

My kids both performed in a concert when we got back from our trip and my daughter started her GCSE's.  Luckily we're all staying calm about them, though the first few were worrying for her until she got into her stride and settled into what to expect.  Typical the smallest child plays a brass instrument so gets sat at the back where it's not easy to snap a picture, while his sister with the violin gets to sit front row

Head home after the concert to get preparations finished for our eldest daughters 30th birthday celebrations the following day. She decided to keep things low key, so I organised a family dinner in a restaurant near then.  I made table favours and decorated the cake I purchased from M&S.  It was a lovely day and she was really touched with all the family members who'd travelled a long way to celebrate with her.

The following weekend we embrace the challenge of taking a group of 13 year old boy to Comic Con in London to celebrate our sons birthday.  I printed them mugs to take home from a picture they had together with a lady dressed expertly in War Hammer costume.  They all had a sleep over after, so not much sleep before we hosted a family dinner for family down from Scotland.

We then had the pleasure of attending a friend and fellow crafters (the person responsible for my paper crafting habit๐Ÿ˜ƒ)  wedding.  Us ladies all met for dinner the night before, which was lovely too.

As you'd expect having danced all night at the wedding and go to bed well after pumpkin hour, we heading up to Sheffield the following day to see filming of the new series of Galdiators TV show.  Ben and I remember watching it back in the 1990's, so it was a good opportunity to enjoy with the kids.
