Seaside Bay Suite

Today I had the mission to create a birthday card for my Brother-in-laws 40th birthday.  Luckily my order arrived from the new catalogue so I was able to break open the Seaside Bay set and see what I could create.

I got Stamps, Die, Design Series Paper (DSP) and embellishments out and failed to get further than the papers.  They are so delicious, if papers can be delicious.  They have a beautiful glimmer design on one side an a mat finish on the alternate side.  I was sure I'd create something with the shiny side, however I've continued my style from the weekend and looked at how to optimise a small piece of DSP.

Using a piece of Seaside Bay DSP 4" x 3.5" I created the card below.  I've also included a video of my gushing over the DSP in case anyone is wondering if they can be as lovely as I described.  I was inspired by cards made use New Horizon DSP last year by Jan B, you can see her cards HERE

Here is my piece of DSP

Here is my finished card, oh and did I say I was last minute again as it's for tomorrow when we all go out for dinner together.
