October alternative materials
Oh my goodness I never expected to be away from my blog and my crafty friends for so long. I've missed you all.
The summer was an epic trial of energy and perseverance, but we're through and I'm looking forward to having more fun crafting again.
I hope you like these examples of using alternative materials to create great gifts and packaging with Stampin Up! goodies.
If you're still with me, thank you for sticking around and I hope you like this instalment. If you're local then why not book a space on the workshop and enjoy using alternative materials. The class will be on the 2nd Friday in October 7pm at Inky HQ. The 3 projects will cost £15 and come with full guidance as you create your own amazing hand crafted gifts. All colours in my projects can be changed as I have a large selection of vinyl to choose from.
The first project is to create a bottle bag for gifting at Christmas. The choice of 2 themes, using the new Gnomes dies. The great thing about Stazon ink you can stamp it on fabric and it's permanent. I used my Stamparatus to stamp over the same area a couple of times to get a nice dark black sentiment stamped on the gift bag. The other option is snow flakes. All of the items are dies cut from Heat Transfer Vinyl and applied using a heat press.
That takes care of one Christ mas gift idea, second gift is a lovely set of earrings, I love the Penguin Place stampset and co-ordinating punch. I also have the Artic Bear stamps which also make great earrings to gift. All of the earring hooks are sterling silver.
When you have your beautiful earrings ready to gift you need a box to gift them in and that is our 3rd project.
